Previously led infrastructure investments at Hassana Investment Company, Saudi Arabia’s $350Bn pension fund. He has also held senior leadership roles at Mubadala Infrastructure Partners (part of Abu Dhabi Sovereign wealth fund), Citigroup, and Lamar Holdings.
Ani has completed more than USD 5 billion of investments and successfully originated and executed numerous infrastructure transactions and projects across the Middle East, spanning renewable energy, housing, water, district cooling, and ports. He has also held a number of board positions across portfolio companies and investment platforms.
He holds a BSc from New York University Stern School of Business. He began his career in Citigroup’s London office, advising major power, utilities, and infrastructure companies across Western Europe.
